Jenna Boerboom, PT, DPT, OCS practices at the Fillmore Action Potential clinic. Jenna grew up on a small farm in Walnut Grove, MN, where from a young age she enjoyed helping people and was interested in pursuing a career in health care. Jenna earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and General Science at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In addition to her studies, she competed in Division III cross country and indoor/outdoor track. Jenna went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
Jenna started her career in the Seattle area and practiced there for nearly ten years before moving to Colorado Springs. Jenna believes in patient education, in getting to know her patients and their specific goals, and in giving individuals the tools they need to return to what they love. She employs a multifaceted approach to care including manual treatments, exercise, and education. Additionally, Jenna is Astym certified and utilizes specific tools to assist with soft tissue mobilization and stimulation. Throughout her career she has had a specific interest in treating athletes of all kinds as well as patients with postural dysfunction.
Jenna brings an athlete’s passion to all that she does professionally and personally, and in her spare time, enjoys running, biking, competing in triathlons, hiking, and playing with her Bernese Mountain dog Monty.
