Phil Plante, PT, DSC, MTC, CMPT, COMT, FAAOMPT, physical therapist and owner of Action Potential Physical Therapy, practices at the Downtown / Pikes Peak Action Potential location and the north Briargate location. In addition to treating patients, Phil is a Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists. As a Fellow, he provides advanced fellowship training to therapists from all over the nation through both the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists and IMPACT, The Institute of Manipulative Physiotherapy and Clinical Training.
In August 2014, Phil received his Doctor of Science in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. Additionally, Phil holds the elite title of Certified Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapist (Level 4) through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists. He has a Master of Arts degree in Sports Science from the University of Denver in Denver, CO as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO. Phil earned his undergraduate degree in Community Health Education from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO.
Phil pursues recreation with a similar level of enthusiasm as he does patient care and education. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, playing hockey, and fly fishing. In addition, Phil relishes spending time with his wife, Eva, and their two daughters.
