Rick Lambert practices at the Academy Action Potential Physical Therapy clinic. Rick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1997. He earned his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2001, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2005. Rick has spent the last 15 years emphasizing manual therapy, mobilization, manipulation, myofascial release, and exploring the neurophysiology of pain.
Rick's clinical approach consists of individualized treatment plans with an emphasis on hands-on physical therapy. He believes that each injury is specific to that individual and his or her situation, and should be treated accordingly. Rick uses a variety of treatments to improve function and mobility, including soft tissue massage and mobilization, joint mobilization, and exercise activities to improve flexibility and stability. Each treatment is tailored to returning patients back to their lifestyle and activity goals.
After growing up in Nevada, Rick moved to Kansas City where he practiced for the last fifteen years. Rick, his wife and their four children are thrilled to be in Colorado Springs and looking forward to enjoying the community and all it has to offer. In his free time, Rick enjoys spending time with his family hiking, running, swimming, and traveling.
